Knitting Resource Masterlist

If you've always wanted to learn how to knit, this is the masterlist for you. These are some of my favorite knitting resources that I used when I was first learning how to knit. I still use them today, when I'm learning a new technique. This list is a continuous work in progress, meaning I'll link to new helpful resources as I find them.

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links when you make a purchase through those links I make a small commission. I would never link to something I haven't or don't plan to buy and try myself.

Beginner/learning how to knit

The resources below are great starting points if you're just learning how to knit. Each site will walk you through how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off/bind off. They also all show you different ways to knit increases and decreases as well as more advanced techniques. If you're wondering which yarn and needles to buy, my first needles came in a Boye starter pack. And I just picked up some Lion Brand Vanna's Choice from Michael's or Joann Fabrics.
